In the early 1900's, a large number of Ukrainian immigrants homesteaded in east-central Alberta.
This open-air museum, located about 50 km east of Edmonton, is comprised of pioneer-era buildings moved here from surrounding farm communities. Ukrainian-speaking re-enactors tend to businesses, livestock, households and gardens.
There are dozens of buildings on the site. This is just a small sampling taken during an afternoon visit.
