The Huble Homestead Historic Site preserves a trading post and freight company built in 1904 on the Fraser River. Al Huble and Edward Seebach traded in raw furs, dry goods, and general merchandise. They hauled freight on the Giscome Portage, an overland trail from the Fraser River, in the Pacific watershed, to the headwaters of the Peace River in the Arctic watershed.
We visited on July 2, 2011. Welcome to the Huble Homestead virtual tour of 13 panoramas.
